As part of the overall building refurbishment project at 131 Queen Street, CAPE was invited to tender for many of the tenants interior fitout projects. One such project being that of Montarne.

Over the space of 6 months, a 430m2 blank space was transformed by the CAPE team, alongside Izzard Design, into a dynamic and functional workplace.

This was a carefully executed project, completed in stages to ensure optimal results. The fitout phase showcased the power of collaboration bringing together innovative design with practical execution solutions. Through close partnerships, we successfully transformed the design teams vision into a reality.

The feature cabinetry in the main entry space is complemented by the unique features surrounding it, makes for an key focal point of this project. The meticulous attention to detail during the shop drawing process ensured that the design vision was seamlessly executed on site.

The high-quality construction of the flush plastered perforated ceiling and bulkheads further contributed to the project's success, and the combination of Cronz carpet, stone tiles, along with dark-stained oak flooring, creates a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere that is a testament to the project's overall quality.

The Design also incorporates subtle nods to the buildings art deco heritage, blending clean lines, geometric forms, and bespoke finishes that pay homage to the 1920s architecture.
